Everything begins when the gaze opens.

In Awakening, the matter seems to emerge from a dark center. The colors unfurl, meet, and explode in a circular motion, between depth and light.

Depending on the distance, the work is interpreted differently. It can evoke an eye, a birth, an explosion, or simply the energy of a movement coming to life.

We have chosen not to impose a single interpretation upon it.

Awakening speaks of that moment when something appears, when our perception shifts and we begin to look differently.

Seeing is not always looking.
