The mountain never reveals itself in a single glance.

In The Crossing, the mountain range stretches from one side of the canvas to the other. The reliefs worked with a palette knife catch the light, while a deep blue sky accentuates the power of the rock.

Here, there is no single peak to reach, but an entire territory to traverse.

The Crossing evokes the journey, the effort, and that sensation the mountain provides when you move through something infinitely larger than yourself.

Some landscapes are not to be contemplated. They are to be crossed.
